DVELAS: WE USE RECOVERED SAILS

We design and manufacture contemporary furniture with recovered ship sails.
We transform them into sun loungers, armchairs, puffs, chairs or tables, labeled with the origin data of each recovered candle.

Our designs revindicate the plasticity of the candle. We use rigging techniques, technology and the way to make professional galleries as a way and inspiration.

We are a creative reaction to reuse a large amount of discarded material from the sailing industry. Material that is not good for sailing but that nevertheless possesses excellent durability and resistance qualities.

We avoid using the material as a lining or simple upholstery. The idea is that the material continues in tension, working in the same way as when it was used to navigate, thus returning the dignity even though the sail has already been awakened.
